Dr. Dimitrije Dončenko is a specialist in internal medicine and cardiology with over two decades of experience. He graduated from the University of Medical Sciences in Zagreb in 1989 and completed his specialization in internal medicine in 1998, followed by a subspecialization in cardiology in 2001 at the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases in Sremska Kamenica.

Since 2001, he has been a cardiologist at the General Hospital in Subotica, focusing on non-invasive diagnostics and treatment in a department with a 40-patient capacity and a Coronary Care Unit (CCU). He is also actively involved in advancing emergency cardiology through his role in the Serbian Medical Society and is a member of the European Society of Cardiology.
