Anopheles mosquito bite

Description

There are a lot of different species of mosquitos. The bite of a malarial mosquito can cause malaria. Malarial mosquito is the transferor of the parasite (plasmodium) with which it infects people after biting them. Malaria is most commonly found in Central and Southern America, Africa and Asia.

Symptoms

Local swelling and itch, fever and pain in the body, if there is malaria.

Therapy

Treatment includes antihistamines for itching and cold compresses. If there is malaria, antimalarial drugs are used.
